It's no exaggeration to say that we have a country to save, and last night was an amazing start! A few weeks back I heard CNN describe Marco Rubio and Rick Scott as "Insurgent Republicans" five minutes after describing Taliban terrorists as "insurgent forces." That tells you what leftists think of us conservatives!
"Insurgent Republicans" Rick Scott (Florida) and Joe Miller (Alaska) highlighted a primary election night that should serve as a full-throated wakeup call for an establishment-controlled Republican Party that takes conservatives and conservative libertarians for granted.
A word of advice for the formerly comfortable Republican Establishment:
WE DO NOT EXIST FOR THE PURPOSE OF KEEPING YOU IN POSITIONS OF POWER !!!!
Your power exists for the purpose of protecting the God-given rights of the American people.
Don't let that chair get too comfortable, especially if you forget why you were elected...
I've never been prouder to be a part of the Tea Party!

Amen brother, and I mean that in the most literal sense!
ReplyDeleteWell, thank you sister!
ReplyDeleteINSURGENT REPUBLICANS!? are you KIDDING? They said THAT? Man, Jingo...I've been blogging a lot about the insults cast at Conservatives and was kind of gratified to see Brent Bozell talk about it on Hannity last night, very much what I've been saying; Obviously, he's a Conservative and closely watches the media but at least people are noticing.
ReplyDeleteNow if we could only get some honest journalists who don't have an agenda to PRINT THAT in the mainstream media, this disdain and belittlement for half of America by this dreadful administration and their henchmen.
Still, I think Americans are seeing it.
When will Americans too lazy to look into the lies of the lefties wake up and see they shouldn't believe PARTY OF NO? When will the media give OUR ideas full airing!? grrr
And, one more comment to your excellent post: TERM LIMITS!!!
Z, There are a LOT of Republicans in Florida who are angry about the spate of commercials from prominent Republicans in favor of the establishment candidate for Governor, Bill McCollum. For months the "grass roots" were favoring Rick Scott; and THEN Jeb Bush. Mike Huckabee, NEWSMAX, and a number of VERY high profile Republicans stepped in on behalf of McCollum. Backchannels were saying they jumped in because McCollum was "electable" in Nov. and Scott has "scandals." Both spurious reasons.
ReplyDeleteHere's the true reason...IT WAS BILL MCCOLLUM'S TURN !!!!
He's a 20 year politician who's climbed through the ranks, so they circled the wagons for him BIG TIME! Don't get me wrong, Bill's a good man who deserves credit for the great work he's done. BUT he's NOT the best guy for the job. That guy is Rick Scott.
The Republican base didn't obey, we took the best candidate because after the McCain and Dole trainwrecks many of them learned to disregard the advice of their "betters" and higher ups in the party.
There is a rift between the FL GOP and the grass roots, and it's up to the party to repair that rift and get with the damned program!
Hi, Jingo, I don't know a lot about Scott or McCollum, but I must say I thought McCollum was a gutsy guy who spoke his mind.
ReplyDeleteThis rift between the grass roots and the GOP all over the country is getting bigger and I don't think it's a "good ol' boy" thing, or "who's most electable", I think it's something MUCH more scary that I MAYBE will get the guts to blog sometime soon. LIke in 2015 :-)

I await your thoughts on the matter with much anticipation Z.
we have Feinstein because the RNC-CRP-betrayed Dannemeyr near the end of the primary campaign and gave us Huffington...thus they gave us Feinstein...
ReplyDeletean original intent Constitution Party is in order---I believe...

Carol and Z I feel for you there in CA. Numerically, you probably have more Republicans than FL or TX, but it's possibly moderate types that run the party because of the left-wing bias of the state overall. As a result they are PETRIFIED of turning off the swing votes and make STUPID calls that turn off the conservative base.
ReplyDeleteHere in FL the big dustup was about the self-annointed elites vs. the multitudes of conservatives that we enjoy in this state. North FL is a hotbed of conservative activism, that comes in the form of social and economic conservatism. So we got rather steamed when our party "elites" came out so strongly against Rick Scott and attempted to tip the scales for Bill McCollum. After all, it was "Bill's turn."
Yay Jingo!! It's no exaggeration to say that we have a country to save, and last night was an amazing start!..wow some good news eh!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks WHT! All in all we've gotten some VERY positive results from the primaries. The RINOS are being replaced.
